We buy trading cards, collections and bulk
We buy Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Riftbound cards. Single cards, whole collections, bulk by the box. We pay competitive rates and we do it as a normal part of the business, not as a favor. Most shops around here don't buy at all, which is why people drive in from across the metro to sell to us.
What we'll take
Anything from one valuable card to a garage full of boxes. Sorted or not. Current Standard, old dusty commons, a collection you inherited and can't make sense of. If you have no idea whether what you've got is worth anything, that's a normal reason to come in. Not a reason to stay home.
How it works
Bring the cards in any day we're open. No appointment needed for a normal collection. If you're bringing something really big, call 828-212-0808 first so we can clear the counter space and set aside the time. We go through it with you, tell you what we can pay, and you decide. No obligation, and it costs nothing for us to look.
Cash or store credit
Either one. Store credit's worth more than cash, so if you're going to spend it on product or singles anyway, take the credit.
What changes the price
Condition, whether the cards are actually being played right now, and how sorted the collection is. Sleeved and organized is worth more than loose in a shoebox, simply because less of our time goes into it. That said, don't spend your weekend sorting before you come. Just bring it.
Questions we get a lot
Do you buy bulk? Yes, by the box. Bulk is a real part of what we do, not something we put up with.
Do I need an appointment? Not for a normal collection. Call ahead for anything really large.
Do you buy other games? Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Riftbound are our focus. Ask about anything else and we'll give you a straight answer.
Will you tell me what my cards are worth if I don't sell? Yes. We'll look either way.
Cash or credit? Your call. Credit's worth more.
